    So, could  the featured KEF speaker in any way take account of its position and the acoustics in a real room.....and how good are B&O's speakers at doing this?

    Actually what it also suggests is that some of the best listening is via headphones - the listener perspective is changed but the reflactions are all gone and the decreased sound level means less strain on all components. Just listening to music on my Grado RS-1s - stunning highs and transparency.

    ..........although getting rid of reflections isn't enough to hear the concert hall as if sat there in person. To do that the recording would have had to be made binaurally.

    Generally speaking, you aren't learning much if your lips are moving.
