I have a pair of Beovox 1702s in Rosewood for sale. The veneer is beautifully figured and apart from a very slight bang to the alluminium trim that you wouldn't notice unless you were looking for it, are cosmetically excellent - nearly mint in fact. The surrounds to the bass/mid-range units are rubber so no foam rot to worry about.
From a power handling and period point of view, they would be ideal with a Beocenter 1400/Beomaster 901/Beomaster 1001, although they would be equally at home with the much later 1400/1500 tuner/amps or similar Beocenters. In fact I've used them with a Beomaster 4400 as both main and ambio speakers with no problems and even on the end of a Beomaster 8000. They are efficient enough to go pretty loud with very little power.
They are much warmer and easier to listen to for long periods than the CX series.
I would post photos, but the file size is too big. If anyone can advise me how I can reduce the file size, I'll pop on some pics.
