Hi all,

going to pick up a MX3500 tomorrow which has the above fault. The picture flickers on powers up and gradually reduces sometimes disappearing altogether.

I am assuming it´s a dry joint somewhere. Anyone had this fault before? Any advice?

I would start with a look on sync. print and around the EHT trafo, it also can be the tuner (if it's only the first 10 min).
