My BV8-40 thinks that a 14:9 broadcast should be shown in format 3 which is wrong. Every time I need to change it to one of the format 1 choices for a correctly displayed picture. Similarly a 4:3 PC input (y/c) also defaults to format 3 (wrong) requiring a change, not just at switch on but also at source change. Very tiresome. Is it not possible for B&O to make formats for the source buttons storable for future use?
