    moving from Canada to UK

    hi,

I was just asked myself what if I will realize my dream and sell almost all my B&O ( BL1, Bs9000, 2x BL4000, Beosystem 3, Beovision 5, Bl8000 etc..)  and move to UK?

I would like to keep only my BL5, BC2 and BL3 and that is it. It will be possible to convert the voltage?

I know it will be a difficult step but I think I.ll do it! Any member here already do that?

    all sold!

I did something a little similar in '06. I sold my MX, beosystem and Redlines in 05 and moved to Japan in '06.

You can always buy the systems again in the future but you can not buy a new life.

Anyway, a BL5, BC2 and BL3 you wouldn't be slumming it by anyone standards.

    Beosystem 7000/6500- Beolab 4000 - Beosound 1 - A8 - Earset 3 - Beo4

Re: moving from Canada to UK

Good morning everybody. Moving from one country to another indeed sometimes is a lifetime decision and of course depends purely on you or probably family as well. But living a dream like selling almost all your B&O products?!??!?!? Surely some things should be kept and others sold. However and in case you really do not need the money, why don't you store them somewhere? I've sold many of my B&O in the past and for some I really regret I did not keep them in my collection!

    Best regards

You are absolutelly right Spiros. I regret some of my B&O that I sold. I remember I had at a certain moment 4x  BL5. I sold one pair and I regret that decision!  But life moves on. I need a new start in life due to some bad decisions in the past.

    all sold!

Hello Constantine, I can most probably understand. I'm sure everybody of us had their bad moment in life. But as you said, life moves on. As long as it is not health issues, I think we are all quite strong to overpass life's adversities. Keep on having positive thoughts! Enjoy the Sunday morning. Best regards Spiros

Having done the same thing about 10 yrs ago, moving from europe to Montreal.
It is indeed  a hard decision to make, but turned out better than expected for me.

I did sell my full setup before I left, knowing that B&O is available world wide and I didn't want to drag anything along with me.
Slowly building up my setup again and enjoying it even more now.

    Regards

    O.
