    Beomaster 4500 not responding to remote control Beolink 1000

    Hello,

    I have a problem with my Beomaster 4500 that won't respond to the Beolink 1000.

    Everything works on the Beomaster except from responding to the remote control. When another piece of gear is connected to the Beomaster, such as a Beocord 4500 and Beogram 4500 the Beomaster responds through the extra gear.

    What might be the problem? I've downloaded the service manual for the Beomaster 4500, but I'd really would appreciate an expert or enthusiasts opinion to this problem.

    It may be set to option 0. With the 4500 in Stand By, on the Beolink 1000 press: SOUND 1 STORE. The Beomaster should flash its red stand by light and it should then work.
