RF Avant VHS + DVD1 Question

    Evening all

Quick question re: an RF Avant VHS and a DVD1. Have hooked everything up using the AV socket on my Avant. I have an older Beo 4 with the AV button in the middle of the top set, and the Avant display bar shows DVD when I have the DVD1 on. I can't fast-forward using the Beo 4 though. Do I need to add V.Tape 2 to the Beo 4 to get this functionality? Using CDV doesn't provide this. Menu function gives me access to the on-screen menus regardless, but I want to be able to fast-forward etc...

Can anyone help? (and does anyone have a spare DVD1 Avant shelf for sale??)

I remember there being something odd about DVD1 John, but can't remember what. Do you have the PCG?

    Product configuration giude.
You just enter all your products on it and it tells you how to set it up and what commands etc. I think you can get it as a silver member.
If nothing else, it's great fun.
Wait here, I'll get you a link for it in two mins.

    Thanks Andy

Doesn't appear to be Mac friendly though :(

Will have to try on a PC next time I pass one.
