beomaster 5000 and Begram 1900

I feel I should know the answer to this question but since its advice I am giving to a friend, I thought I'd better be sure.

Will the BG 1900 work with a BM 5000 or will it need an RIAA?

The combination will work fine, the 5000 has a RIAA built in Wink
