    Help! Beosound 9000 digital output

Hi and Happy New Year! My brother just gave me his beosound 9000 MK3 + beo4 becuase he upgraded his system. As I only have a Bose lifestyle 48 I'm trying to connect the two using the BS9000's digital output. I've reset the BS 9000 to option 1 (factory setting) and connected the two with a coaxial cable, however I get no sound. I've tested the bose digital input by using another DVD player and the coaxial digital input works fine. Is there some sort of setting I need to do to activate the BS9000's digital output? I understand that both sides are S/PDIF unbalanced signals but i'm not gettinig it to work. Tks!!

Re: Help! Beosound 9000 digital output

Hi, myabe is too late but, when you want to use BS9000 alone without BO speakers you have to change to Option 0. 2nd posibility is in Option 1 short-circuiting 2 and 4 pins on PowerLink sockets.
