    Beovision avant built-in video player

Recently moved house and the video player no longer works just a white screen.  When looking through the user and set up guide the diagram showing therear socket panel shows a decoder, AV  and  blank area for the V. Tape when I look at the rear of my tv under the space marked V Tape there is  actually a socket for the connection of the built in video recorder but nothing is pluggede in or linked..  I wonder is something meant to plugged in this socket - did it fall out/off during the move?  Any tips greeatly appreciated.

Just spoken to an expert I know (!) and there should be a short lead coming out of the Avant that plugs into this socket. It is normally held in by a couple of clips.

    welcome to beoworld,Big Smile

there should be a short scart lead from the "V-TAPE" scart socket to the first of 2 scart sockets located just above the round floor stand at the rear, not sure if it needs to be a special scart lead or if any replament will do, im sure one of the guys on here will know for sure
