    Beolab 4000 dead..

    Hi all,

I have a BL4000 speaker that does nothing when I try to power it on.  No red, no green.   Before I ship it off to the repair center I'd like to check the fuse.  I know how to remove the front aluminum plate (unscrew the 3 screws) but how much further do I have to go to get at  the fuse.  And is there one fuse or several?   The service manual isn't clear.  Thanks for any assistance.

Are your BeoLab4000's the older type? If so please forgive the obvious question, have you tried pushing the power button of the front?

Yes, and yes.  And it doesn't light up red or green.
