    4500 Beosystem - Power problem

Hi - I do hope someone can help, I bought my husband the above system for Christmas along time ago!!!, it has worked perfectly, but now upon our return from an extended trip, when we try to turn it on we just get a clicking noise.

We took it to an Audio Workshop and they said it was a Protector circuit problem!!!

I have read nearly all of the items on the forum relating to the 4500 system and not once was this type of problem listed, I am not convinced this is the problem.

Any help or advise would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

Re: 4500 Beosystem - Power problem

    Hi & welcome to BeoworldSmile

It has been mentioned a few times HERE & HERE. Sadly the original posters in both threads never completed the thread with the outcome.

As your Beomaster 4500 was fine before you went away and now won't power up on your return does hint very strongly of a dry joint somewhere.

If you think nobody cares, try missing a couple of payments.
