    Wouldn't it be nice if......

you could select default speakers per source rather than per function.

Lets says AV1 always uses speaker 2 = apple tv which defaults to speaker 3 because its video.

    Beovision 7 MKIV (Blu Ray)
    Beolab 9

    Beolab 6000

    Apple TV
    SKY HD
    Optoma HD65 Projector
    Lintronic TT455-RT-238
    Beovision 3 MKII

yes, that would indeed be great. You can only define seperate settings for video or audio sources

I Do the same. You could write an Email to B&O HQ. I did the same in a different matter some days ago.

    They should respond.

Another option is to have a Beo5 programmed so that you have two buttons on your home screen, one saying Apple TV Music with the Macro V.Mem then Speaker 2 behind it and then Apple TV Movie with the Macro V.Mem then Speaker 5.

    Job Done!

    Agreed... Beo5 and macros.

I accomplish the same thing w/ a Logitech... works EXACTLY as the OP suggests!

On the Lintronic box you can also set it up per source, so I don't have this issue..Big Smile

ahhh yes of course thats my next purchase a -238 box.

i suppose i could tell it when it received a vmem signal to wait a second and then send speaker 2 which would be a easy way to fix.
