    Beogram 6000 / RL140

      Hi everyone !

this is not really a post but an opportunity taken to say a great big THANKYOU to two members...Martin (Dillen) and Menachen (Yachadm)

To Menachen for supplying the correct answer to my ongoing tonearm problem and to Martin for supplying the necessary parts to fix it....thanks to you both.

Martin also supplied a capacitor set to restore my RL140 's to their former glory and as was to be expected, when I opened up the speakers a pile of foam fell out....the woofers were shot... what now? I knew that some members here in the USA have been finding it difficult locating someone to fix their speakers, which kind of worried me but I found a couple of places here in California which do an excellent job of re-foaming, re-coning etc. at what I consider very reasonable prices. So if  anyone needs information on speaker repairs in the USA, just get in touch.

Once again, thanks to Menachen and Martin and everyone out there in the Beoworld.

    Mike
