A blog describing a mid 90's visit to Steve Job's residence and his B&O system.

"We went to the living room, everything was in white tones: the
walls, sofa, the carpet. All very pleasant and relaxing, it was not a
showy house. You could see that everything had a practical purpose.
There weren’t many decorations on the walls, everything looked very
clean and I was scared to death to break or leave any dirt on that
spotless room. What struck me was that there was no TV until my
girlfriend showed me it was hidden. You had to open a white closet and
inside it there was the TV and a stereo. We continued the tour on the
bottom floor and reached the dining room.In the centre there was a big
and long wooden table. Very elegant. I don’t remember seeing a minibar.
What I saw was a photo of Mr. Jobs with President Clinton. She told me
that when he visited them the house was full of bodyguards, policemen
and helicopters. I was starting to feel as if we were being
watched. There was also a stereo like no other I had ever seen, you had
to wave your hand in front of it and it opened. Years later I learned
that it was a Bang & Olufsen, probably like the Beosound 3200."
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure. [W C Fields]
