    Loading an Avatar

Having been a member for nearly two years, I thought it about time I loaded a personal Avatar.   However, whatever I do, I don't seem to be able to change from the currenmt default grey outline.

Help please, ideally at the 'loading Avatars for dummies' level!

    Re: Loading an Avatar

When you are signed in and on the forum scroll to the top of the page.

    Select/click on Edit Your Profile

You should now see a web form where there are 3 tabs along the top

[Profile Options] [Site Options] [Sign-in information]

You want [Profile Options] to be the one that is highlighted in bold test

First make sure the radio button "Enable Avatar (*) Yes ( ) No" is selected

Then check if no avatar picture exists on the page under Avatar ... you need to load one

Click Upload Avatar (Choose File) button

A MENU WILL POP UP FOR YOU TO SELECT YOUR IMAGE FILE FROM YOUR COMPUTER

Once you select a file and return to the Beoworld webpage you need to then click the (Update) button

A page refresh happens but your Avatar picture remains unchanged

Then scroll to the bottom of the webpage and click the (Save) button

Another page refresh happens and then the Avatar picture is replaced

    And voila you are there

It was the 'save' bit I was missing out!  How stupid.

    Thanks

Not at all "stupid" ... I think it is a badly designed webpage !
