No, the connection is different.

The Beolink Active eye has buttons, so it needs extra wires.

It works, I have the full IR eye with the controls, and with a normal wiring as Stefan says, it works great.

I use the IR eye from the old VX 5000 external IR.
No change in wiring, plugs straight into Beoport. Found it on eBay for £11.
