Beovox CX 100, Beolab 3500, Boesound 4000 what are my options regarding connecting to----

I just hooked up my pair of Beolab 8000 to my Macbook pro, finally. Used the line in. If not connected to the computer, do I need to power them down?Pleased to hear my old pals again!

I have a pair of CX 100, & 2  Beolab 3500 speakers that I would like to know what my connection options are. Both to either a IPod , Macbook Pro, and or a Harmon Kardon AVR 125 receiver.

I've been away from the world of B & O for a few years and need some help. I had to leave the master link "cords" in the wall when I moved. It was better than a demolition. I have a lot of equipment but little knowledge at this point.

My Beosound 4000 doors are in need of repair also, cables loose & visible. Easy fix, or experts only? Best source for cords etc?

I have beolinks, a variety of B & O amps & remotes etc but living in a rental apartment means no in the walls installation.

Thanks in advance for any & all help offered.
