    Broken dustcap!! Safe to use?

The dustcaps on my Beovox 5700 have started to crumble and one has a bigh hole in it. I have asked Martin if he can send me new ones but in the meantime I was wondering if I can still use the speakers? They are at my parents and my mother is upset because I said she can't use them. If its going to cause damage I'll go over there and disconnect everything till they are fixed. She said I must ask Beoworld cos only they will know!!! Huff!!

    Francois,

She can still use the speakers but keep the grills on and remove the old dustcaps to prevent debris from entering the coil/magnet area. New dustcaps will have to be mounted as soon as possible.

    You have a PM !
