    Which Beogram is compatible?

Hi i was wondering if you could help me. I have Beolab 4500 speakers and beosystem 2500 and would like to know which Beogram would be compatible with them without having to buy a pre-amplifier.

    Thank you for your help

    Hey Andy,

Nice system!  I've always admired the Beolab 4500's.  The two Beograms, with built in pre-amps, that will work with your system are the Beogram 7000 and 4500.

Edit: Sorry, forgot to add the Beogram 6500 as well.  If your not familiar with these tables, they are all essentially "mechanically" the same turntable (tangential).  They really vary only in cosmetics, with the 4500 table matching the rest of the Beosystem 4500, and the 6500 and 7000 matching the Beosystems 6500 and 7000 respectively.

You also forgot the Beogram 3500...........and the older Beogram 6000 CD4.

So, in a nutshell, you want Beogram 3500, 4500, 6500 or 7000 from the more modern series of tangentials or Beogram 6000 from the older models although these are quite rare.

There are other more esoteric Beograms and you can read all about them here
