Speaker grille fabric for Beovox CX 100

Is speaker grille fabric available at B&O? I can see that the fabric on the CX 100 is very similar to the fabric on my MX 7000 and probably other Beovisions, so it can't be that rare. Other ideas for a replacement?

I believe that complete frets for CX100s are available from B&O dealers. I am not aware that grille coth is sold separately.

If you are wanting to recover yourself do a google search on wilmslow audio - they do something similar - i have used it to recover rl's and bl6000 frets - they will send out samples - they also used to do a range of very fine fabric which is similar to  penta stuff - they recovered a complete set of penta frets for about £40 and probably still have the support subframe(sorry guys can't think of the correct term at the moment)

Thanks Tony. I have had a look at their website, but I can't see any grille fabric, only premade grilles for different speakers. I'll contact them to hear what they can do.

Dont know! if fabric on bl8000 is similar to bl 6000 then the wilmslow stuff is coarser in the weave - i've used the w a green on a pair of 6000 looks great sounds fine to me only noticeable when closely viewed and of course its not trad bno

    mail em for some samples!

I just emailed wilmslow audio and they are kindly going to send me some free samples. I don't think postage to Australia is much more expensive than postage to Denmark.

I've received some samples from Wilmslow Audio. The white and the black grille cloth are very similar to that on the CX 100.

Re: Speaker grille fabric for Beovox CX 100

When I needed to recover a pair of CX100's, I used pieces cut from some kids white piquet shirts. Think they cost about £3 for two. Gave me plenty more than I needed. Looked very close to the original too.
