Does anyone know if the mk3 have the new black menu? And can the DVB-HD be installed in the mk3?

Yes - but the TV may require a software update depending on age and whether the previous owner has already applied this. I recall the black menus came with V5.x onwards. I would be certain that in order to insert the DVB-HD module , an update to the latest software would be done at the same time. The current rev is 7.05.
The black menu was available from software version 5.0
It went to 5.02.5.08.6.11
Latest version is 7.05
DVB HD is available on current models.
