Are any of you using two sets of surround speakers?

I was just curious how many people here are using a 6.1 type setup where you have the front R&L, center, surround L, surround R, and back surround channels like the BS3 supports?  If so, what speakers do you use for the 2 surround channels?  have you noticed much difference from just using one pair of surround speakers?

No one here has a 7 speaker setup?

Well, I do run one in a non B&o setup (7.2)... the additional channels don't seem to get much of a work out unless the source included them... maybe 5-10% of what I watch?

As far as my B&o setup... I actually reduced from 5.1 to 3.1...

    I have used a 7.2 set up.. .

    I used lab 5s up front with a 7-2 center. .. BL3s as surround and 6ks as rears .

the rears get less sound than any . .

Honestly most movies/media don't support 7 channel audio so the BS3 "makes up"

the difference. . You get some sound from them but not much. .

I have gone back to 5.2 with all ALT speakers now.

    Hope this helps.

I'm ready for something new that I actually want to buy!
