Power-on-time and time to switch between NRADIO-sations

Please, can anybody report the following:

    - Power-on time (in seconds) for the BM5 from "standby" till the sound is coming up from a N.RADIO-station
    - what are is the time (or the gap) in seconds when you switch between 2 N.RADIO-stations

    I plan to run a BM5 without a BS5, connected at my BS3.

    Many thanks for your answers

    Fredy

I don't have one, so I can't do the measurements, but a "word of warning" about net.radio stations, I use them with BeoPlayer, BM-Link and now LinkPlayer and PLEX ... there is often a considerable lag across the internet to connect to low band width stations ... and some times the statio's server is down (or whatever) and the connection never happens ... at which point you need to be able to cancel the connection request ... PLEX is the worst at accepting and honouring the cancel request, I often have to terminate and restart PLEX

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

Re: Power-on-time and time to switch between NRADIO-sations

It takes mine ~8 - 10 secs to awake from a full sleep (assuming a reliable station).

It takes ~1 - 2 secs to switch between reliable N.Radio stations, although sometimes longer (if the station or internet is spotty) or forever (if the radio site is down).  I haven't experience any of the problems like I would with BeoPort when a station was not available (like Elephant mentions).  When a station is not available, it just sits there trying to find it until you switch to a different station that it can find.

When I have my linkroom tv (8-32) powered on and press N.RADIO, then it takes 20 sec. when BM5 is in full sleep. It takes 3 sec. to change channels.
    I only have a BM5 which I use via my TV's.
I find 20 sec. a little too long.

    There is something about B&O.....
