    Beolink Converter question

Okay...so i've got a converter (1166 i think euro version) and i know it'll talk back and forth between the ML and the Datalink...

Can anyone tell me what the Powerlink connection on this box is for?????????

     1) IN ONLY (like the passive) or is it both ways???

    2) IF...both ways..is it attenuated??

    3) AND, the bigger question....what would be an idea to use this in home integration???

APPLICATION:  AV7000 datalink connected thru Converter to ML to BS9000...

Thanks for all the help....great forum..

As far as I know, only the mute signal of the Powerlink connection is used. I never noticed any difference in functionality if PL cable was present or not (setup was BC2300 linked to BV6).

1 & 2) As far as I know it's only an input and only used in special cases (when the TV is the ML master and the audio system has no ML connection).

    3) It's used to connect an ML product to a non-ML product.
