    Programming motorstand w/ beolink 1000

    Hi everybody out there,

I have just joined this interesting site and would like to post my first question right away: How can I program my MX 6000 with a Beolink 1000 to utilize the motorstand? When I turn my tv to my favorite place by hand, the tv will automatically return to the zero position when shut off. However it will remain in this position when switched on.

    Hello Markus, and welcome Smile

This will depend on the software version of your MX6000. If it was originally sold with a Beolink 1000, there should be no problems, but if you have a Beo4 version, it may be a little difficult... check the type sticker on the rear of your TV. There will be a text "SW x.x" somewhere, hopefully "1.something" in place of the x.x.

Or otherwise, just try first pressing "PICTURE" on the remote, and then either "<" or ">". If the stand turns, it should be as simple as using the remote to drive it into the position you'd like it to normally have, and then pressing STORE.

EDIT: On second thought, it probably needs STORE-PICTURE-STORE to memorize the position. That will memorize all the picture settings at the same time.

If the stand doesn't respond to PICTURE + </>, you probably have the later SW designed for a Beo4. If this is the case, just tell us and I think there is a way to do it even then.

    Thank You so much Mika,

I found "Stand" in the "Picture" menu. So I pressed "picture, stand ,>, store, store and it's a great new tv fun. To see it swinging towards my lay-down area (it's in the bedroom) is really something. My best regards to Your lovely country of Finland. My mother's closest friend is from Turku.
