BeoLab 5 on non solid floor?

I will be placing some BL5's in a room which is above a garage, will this be a compromise against a solid concrete floor due to the downward firing bass driver?

I currently have no acoustic problems in there with my current highend set up,but the BL5 is a different beast to what I have now!

My floor is not bottom floor, it is made of concrete/cement, but there's a floor beneath it, I have no problems. Heard that problems can arise with certain wooden floors.

You might want to take a look at this thread...

The OP over there was placing BL5's over an open area as well.
