You have done a great job with that Madslp.  Was it BMW paint?
Maybe while it was apart, you could have replaced the rubber keypad, they are not very expensive.

It turned out quite nice.. Yes actually it is bmw paint!! I know about the keypad, but I couldn't wait..

Without revealing too much of the 'secret', tell me when you say it's BMW paint, do you mean it's from their colour range rather than it actually being paint from BMW. Also, is it applied from a normal car accessory spray can?

Here is the story.

I got and old beo4 mk.2, the display was very lousy, i think the former owner, was chewing on it. And the cabinet for the remote was very used. Then we bought a new mk.3 display, and replaced it. My friend is an autopainter, and he was working on a bmw 5serie WHITE.. Then the beo4 became white..

But I'm working on some new stuff for beo4, I will follow up..

Really lovely, today I thought about painting my Beo4 black again, due to the paint comes off at the edges, but this takes it to a new level.

It becomes also more smooth, in your hand. But my wish is also to paint the black frame around the display - white!! But i'm not sure about the method. White rubber keypad, with black numbers maybe - I dream about Beo4!!

I have a lot of ideas!! Hire me at Struer!!

Might just do the same.

Very nice. Powder coating the case would provide a finish that is as hard, if not harder than the original factory finish. I think it's possible to get the stippled texture as well, or no texture at all if desired.

I have a Beolink 1000 requiring a refinishing job as well. If only the rubber feet on a BL-1000 were available as a part.... : )

I am startet with the new project, High glans black beo4 with extra funktions added.. I think I'm finish in next week... This would be a new revolution of remotes....
