    Beovision MX6000 colour perfection...

Very little used Beovision MX6000: I have adjusted the red and green drives and cutoffs to achieve a good greyscale. Have tweaked brightness and contrast and yet white still looks a bit dull. Any suggestions for adjusting this would be gratefully received.

It could well be that the tube really has seen better days ... does the set look as though it is well used?

There are plenty of tubes around, many of which are still in very respectable shape ... it may be worth swapping out.

    Re: Beovision MX6000 colour perfection...

The TV was my father's. I know its history. It has had practically NO use -that's not an exaggeration. Don't get me wrong, I think most people would say the picture is fine. I'm just a bit fussy! I would have thought the service menu on the remote control would have given access to settings other than rg drive and cutoff - or am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks

Hi, in TV mode, press Menu, 1, 1 and GO to enter System Menu, try it!

    Best regards!

    Leo.
