Difference between UK and European B&O-products?

    Hi!

Are there any differences between UK and European B&O-products except the power-cord?

    Can i use a UK-system if i just change the power-cord?

The short answer is yes, in most cases. TV's will usually require a change made from the service menu.

Of course the manual will be "foreign"!!

My Serene phone originally came from B&O Dubai and so the dock had a two pin plug........ easily accomodated in the UK with a two pin adapter.

However, when I decided to buy a travel adapter/charger in the UK, it came with a UK 3 pin plug. No doubt this has got something to do with UK electrical legislation, but surely a travel adapter with 3 pins that can only be used in the UK is a bit crazy?

Also, increasingly instructions now carry warnings not to cut wires to change plugs but to purchase only complete power cords.

With complete  figure of eight to UK plug power chords at around £1.50p each it is not so much of a problem!
