    Hi Keith,

I saw your overview of the BeoVision 7-32 type numbers. Do you also know when the release dates of the Mark's are? I bought a BeoVision 7-32 last May and got the 9341 model without HDMI....

    Thank you in advance.

    Bas,

A very warm welcome to Beoworld

The Beovision Mark III was introduced around March 2006, the Mark 4 about October/November 2008 and the Mark 5 about May 2009

    Regards Keith....

    Hi Keith,

Thank you for your welcome and your reply!

Do you also know if there are differences by country? I live in The Netherlands and bought there my BeoVision 7-32. And is it true that the Mark 5 is the first model of the 7-32 that has HDMI?

    Kind regards,

    Bas

    Re: BV 7-32 Type numbers

The 4 digit Type numbers define the country/region and sometimes other variables.

In the case of the Beovision 7-32 there is a type number for Northern Europe except the UK (we like to be different!), also Eastern Europe and other non European countries.

Also the DVD region will mean a different Type number in some European countries, yet technically Europe should be in the same DVD region.

I can confirm that the Mark V is the first model with HDMI

    Re: BV 7-32 Type numbers

    Hi Steve,

It appears that B&O made a mistake with the delivery last May and they will exchange my BeoVision for the Mark V version. Good service!

They will also connect my digital decoder through a HDMI cable on the BeoVision 7-32, the same will happen with my playstation 3.

I already asked the dealer to bring HDMI version 1.3 cables. Do you have advice on the HDMI connections? I have a surround sound setting with 5 BeoLab speakers.

    Thank you in advance.
