Beomaster 4500 - FM frequency tuning

I have been trying to tune in some FM frequencies on a Beomaster 4500. Am I correct in thinking that it is not possible tune in 'half' or 'point 5' frequencies, for example 95.5? I has to be 95 or 96.

If this is so, I find it strange as, being a European manufacturer, these 'in between' frequencies are widely used. I believe in the US they are not or if they are, not much.

If you mean physically punching in the frequency I don't think so. However you can seek to a frequency similar to the one that you described. I have a US version and all of my frequencies use a decimal, very common. In my area all the decimals are odd numbers.

Re: Beomaster 4500 - FM frequency tuning

Thanks for that, much appreciated. BUT, one problem is that as some of the stations are missed in a scan requiring manual entering of the frequency. I find it impossible to enter an exact frequency having to go the best whole number frequency each side of the point five!

The reason I referred to the US is that I know some models of US car radios couldn't tune to the decimal point 5. Whether this has now changed I don't know.

    Thanks again.

Oh I guess I missed your emphasis on the specific .5 frequency. I will look into this further.

So are you actually able to enter the specific frequency on the BM4500?
