    SW: Latest BV 7 version

    Dear All:

What's the latest version of the BV 7 MkIII software?  The area's only B&O certified technicians upgraded the SW to day to V 4.71.  Is this the latest version?  If not am I going to encounter any issues?

    Thank you,

    Dario

Yes, the latest is 5.02. With black menus and support for Beomaster 5.

Thank you everyone.  The BS 9K was taken away for some repairs.  I will ask the technician next time he is in to update to the latest SW.  Although, I doubt I will be getting the BS 5.

The idea is good; the amount of HD space is just poor.  The thing needs at minimum  1 terabyte of space.

I have 5.02 but over the xmas break discovered if you watch sky in link room when the main tv(beovision 7) is turned off the link room tv displays message this display does not support hdcp. B&O tell me there was new software on the way to fix this problem with 5.02.

Do you know if 5.04,build 435 fixes this problem and what other changes there are? thanks

Paul, if you find out this info, let me know. As you know, I share the dodgy link room problem :(

Unfortunately my dealer seems to be on a sales drive and isn't getting back to me with any info about this problem. More fool them.

    Quim,

is the software level the same for BV7-32 and BV7-40 (both MK-III I suppose)?

And if not, what is the software level for BV7-32?

Re: SW: Latest BV 7 version

    Piet,

The lastest SW for the BV7-32 Mk3 is 7.84 for the TV SW and 7.74 for M2 SW.

    SW 5.04 is for BV7-40 Mk3, BV9, BV4 and Beosystem 3 with DVB HD.

What is the latest software release for the BV7-40 mark ii?  As far as I am aware, I have not had any sw upgrades installed.  Do I need to worry?

Re: SW: Latest BV 7 version

The lastest SW for the BV7-40 Mk2 is the same I said for the BV7-32 Mk3, 7.84 and 7.74. If your TV works fine, I would not worry for a SW update.

    Regards
