Hi

I recently bought a beomaster 5500 to replace my existing beomaster 5000 due to a communication breakdown (doh!).

Can anyone tell me if the beomaster 5500 is compatible with the other Beosystem 5000 components. I cannot get the beomaster to switch on and although the connections in the back are the same, the front is quite different.

Does the front panel open in the same way as the 5000?

Hi,

All i know, is that de Beomaster 5500 doesn't have the opening front panel, and is to operate with MCP 5500, and  with BL 1000,

wich is not the case  for the Beomaster 5000.
