    RX2 turntable 110V --> 220V ??

    I recently acquired one RX2 record deck, unfortunately its an us device, so it needs 110 volts.

    Since I have one (220v) Beoram 5005 left for parts, I thought maybe I can use the power supply for the RX2.

    It looks pretty much similar, could not find any difference when comparing these 2 power supplys.

    Does anybody know if it is possible just to solder the 5005's power supply in the RX2 or if there are more things to change (then I will leave it as it is and use converter)

    You can either swap the power supplies or change the "jumpers" on the one in the RX2 to make it compatible for 220 V.

    If you aren't sure how to change the jumpers then it would probably be safest to simply swap them over though and at least you know it will be set right for your power supply. The transformer output voltage is the same in these decks so there won't be a problem.

    Hi Chris!

    I soldered the jumpers on the RX2 like them on the Beogram 5005 and it works now!!!

    Thank you very much!!!!
