    CRT as a projector?

I was wondering if anyone on the forum has experience with these do-it-yourself projector kits? For those out of the know, you take a smaller tv and use a lens (sold on the net) to project the image onto a wall. As it is, I don't have a tv at the moment although when I get the rest of my things posted down from scotland, I'll have my old 14" set. I was thinking about setting it up for watching films on and maybe computer games

I cannot even begin to see how this would produce the amount of light necessary! Show us a link!

I have no experience with it but read about it ....but my understanding is this works based on LCD tvs

Giving the low cost of a projector I wouldn't go there ... especially for games where you need sharp details and quick motions I wouldn't bother with looking at kits .. I have an infocus IN72 which is now around 500$ after rebates .......
