I see these wall mounts on sale all the time. I'm not looking for such at least for now, but was just curious how are they supposed to be installed. From the number of screws, it seems the small hooks are mounted on the wall, and then what?

Just like the one on the left on the above picture. The CX's are ment to hang in the hook. That's how the manual says anyway.

Thanks. I still don't get the purpose of the vee shaped thingy (is it there just to tilt a CX100 to vertical?), but I guess these are nothing I couldn't or wouldn't fabricate myself
It's a stability thing AFAIK

Also, from what I remember the CX50's don't use the 'extra' bit that you use with the CX100's.

True the cx50 only needs the hooks. The V shaped iron is just to stabilize and angle the cx100 correctly.
