    Questions regarding the BeoCenter 9500

    Hi there everybody

I have owned my BeoCenter 9500 for a couple of years now, and during this time I have come across some questions I hope you BeoWorld experts can answer for me.. Smile I have writting my questions down during this time, and I think I have found the correct forum to ask them in now.

The first one should be an easy one, but I have two more complex questions which I will try to write tomorrow.

    Here we go:

On the tape lid "Dolby B-C NR HX PRO" is written, but I have seen other BeoCenter 9500 which has "HX-PRO" written instead. What should it be? Was the BeoCener 9500 produced with boths, or has the lid been changed on some of those I have seen then?

    Hello Vifa,

I cannot specifically answer your question - but for the record my Center9500 has HX-PRO written on the tape cover panel.

    Regards

Re: Questions regarding the BeoCenter 9500

The text referece to the options on the cassette deck; Dolby B and C are noise reduction systems and HX Pro (Dolby HX (headroom expansion) was developed to HX Pro by B&O) is a way to record better dynamics music on the tape.

All 9500 have all three Dolby B, C and HX Pro, I think the older form was to mark them both to the lid. Later on only the HX Pro.
