I'm a bit confused. Is it the same amplifiers in Penta 1 and Penta 2? If I look at the specifications for the power output they are not the same.

He now also claims that I can't connect Penta 2 to my Beocenter 9000!

They are broadly the same but the connections differ and there are some small internal changes commensurate with the age difference. The power differences are due to measurement changes. You can of course connect the 9000 to Penta 2s though the 9000 has no Powerlink sockets so you will use Speakerlink, which the 2 has.

I think he is being dishonest in his dealings with you and I would get a full refund and buy some others from someone else. There are plenty around! He said they were 2s and they are not. If you upgrade to a system with Powerlink, you will have problems.

I take it that you paid more than that! In the UK there is legislation to stop the customer from being ripped off. I imagine that similar laws exist in Denmark - you complained in a timely manner so you should be entitled to a refund.

What would in your oppinion be the difference in price between the 1 and the 2? The refund equals 8.6% of the price, which included a pair of new rather long speakerlinkcables and one new grille.
