    Need some cable help...

    Hello all,

I need some help.  I wanted to hook up my BL2 sub to my non-B&O tv via RCA out and needed to know what cable I need.  Will this one do?

    Hi win,

The cable you linked to allows you to connect a non-B&O active subwoofer to a B&O TV or audio system.  To connect Beolab 2 to a non-B&O system, you will need a Powerlink Trigger Box to generate the switching signals required by Beolab 2.  I can make these Trigger Boxes customised to your specification.  You may also have other issues to consider if you are connecting to a non-B&O TV, eg:-

    1) Most brands of TV have fixed line-level audio outputs, so you need to add a volume control between the TV and the subwoofer (connecting via an audio system is an ideal solution for this).

    2) If your TV or audio system only has amplified outputs for passive speakers, then you will need Attenuated Cables to reduce the signals to the correct levels for Beolab 2.

I can help with connecting virtually any speakers to any combination of TV or audio system - please drop me a line via my link at the foot of this page with more details of the specific items you want to connect and I will do my best to help.

    Best regards,

    Steve.
