I may have misunderstood  being non technical but can you clarify something for me.

I currently have a bv 32 and a bc2 and a standard sky digital box.

My question is if i was to purchase a sky hd box  i know i would not get hd tv but would there be any improvement in the picture  received or playback of dvd

In not i will just change to a sky plus to get the recording facility and 40 hours recording time ok for me.

sorry to say i only noticed an inprovment on normal channels when i connect it using HDMI a vast improvment.

If the boxes are the same price i woudl get the HD box to be future proof.
