Could anyone please help me control this remote controlled tower fan using my Beo5?

If you have the original remote control, then the codes can be captured and an XML file created.

I do have the the original remote Keith. I problem is I don't have the equipment or knowledge on how to create XML files!

I believe you need a device to capture the IR codes, but with the Macbook Pro I have there is no IR port. I don't have a palm pilot or anything else like that either.

Help!
