    Link Room Sound issues

So I have connected my Sky HD box to my BV7-40 via HDMI, I have also taken the Digital Coax from the Sky HD box to the SPDIF socket on the AV1 connector of the BV7,  but I get no sound in the Link rooms,  do you still need to use Scart,  I have changed the setting on the BV7 to use the sound from SPDIF and not HDMI

Any Ideas, as I dont want to run a 10mtr scart lead to the TV

The RF modulator is not able to distribute digital audio to link TVs. You will need an analogue signal. The same with picture.

Yes. You only need a L/R cable connected to the SCART socket.

Jon, 'flipping' ridiculous I know.  Just a though, can you use AV4 as PC or some other miscellaneous setting and use L/R stereo for link rooms in addition to a digital signal for surround sound in your main room?
