The usual broken wiper problem on the BM 1900

Hello everyone - what is the current state of play regarding the balance/bass/treble sliders on the 1900? Last time the sliders went wonky on my BM1900 I had to do that minute surgery of glueing all that parts back together, but alas the fault has returned and I don't fancy spending hours rebuiling the wiper/slider again.

Has anyone found a replacement part yet?

    thanks

I haven't found any good replacements for those potentiometers.
My advice would be to give it another go, and use a better glue and/or clean better.
I've repaired countless and never saw an already glued one back here.
Clean everything, the brass parts should be rough'ened a bit using a glasshair brush or similar, and then
superglue it back together, leave overnight and put back together.
Use the real cyanoacrylate stuff, not the cheap tubes.

    Dave,

Can you post a picture of this, with dimensions and Ohmic value?

There is an old electronics shop here, which just put up for sale a whole bunch of NOS Ruwido slider pots.

    Let's see if there's a match here.
