Are all Beocenters 1 capable to be setted to a DVD region free status ?

I saw one BC1 for sale ( private ) that stated it has a DVD wich is region code free.

The seller has confirmed it was made region free by a dealer and that there shouldnt be to much difference between models?

Also it didnt take that long to do it.

However i am informed by a dealer its not possible,.....on the BC1 he has ?

Can some well informed members give some comment, how and why the dealer might state that ?
