    Beoworld error

I saw a CDX 2 for sale on a local aution site with a buy it now price. So I quickly checked the description and technical details on Beoworld (Was already logged on to Beoworld of course!), and bought it as it sounded like just what I would make use of. I then looked in the Beocentral book to see if it was there and it was but they write that the CDX 2 has no datalink!! I checked again on Beoworld which states that it does have datalink!! I did a search for CDX 2 on Beoworld and found out that it indeed has no datalink and that the error had been picked up before but obviously was not rectified.

Could someone please rectify it as to avoid any future confusion as I am now rather disappointed as the player isn't what I wanted. I'm sure that everyone uses the beoworld descriptions a lot as a reference when buying.

    Thanks

    Re: Beoworld error

I am very sorry that the description for the CDX2 was not 100% correct, but I have now corrected the description, thank you for pointing this out.

After doing a little research on the subject and viewing some of the original B&O documents, it appears one has the same error, however the user manual is correct by not making any mention of datalink.

    Regards Keith....

    Hi Keith

Thank you for correcting the description. Apologies if I sounded a bit irate, I am sure it will be nice to have the CDX 2 added to my collection.

    Re: Beoworld error

    Hi

Made the same mistake about five years ago. But i am still happy with my CDX2. Still use it together with a BM3000 on Tape1 Input. Ok there is no remote control but who cares. The CDX2 works with all the CD's we have, even CDR's. The Top-loader is still working fine (not one problem in 5 years, compared to all the problems we have with a CDX and a CD3300).  There are rumours that the CD mechanism is not as stable as the one in the CDX.

    Best Regards, David
