Bug in BeoPlayer 5.00.01.0613
Just noticed a bug in the latest BeoPlayer.
All my music is stored on a NAS-drive in my network, mapped to a driveletter (M:)
I created some playlists but after the NAS-drive was disconnected/reconnected the playlists are empty... BUMMER!
Anyone else experienced the same problem?
Karel

Re: Bug in BeoPlayer 5.00.01.0613
Well, I don't have this bug, but I have another, I can't rip CDs anymore, the Metadata service is unavailable, and when I click the "update info & cover", I have an error message "corrupted file transfer" or something like that, and today I lost the Masterlink connection, but I don't know if this is all related to the new BeoPort SW.
Apart from that, I really find the new version more intuitive, faster, and more reliable overall.
And the coloured playlists in NRADIO are a real bonus for me!

New feature: "Improved (hierarchical) file structure for easier navigation of collection" - what does this mean??
PS: Anyone used 'Control F1' on your keyboard when using BeoPort with your Beo4 - great - but how do I get the various view to show like albums artist etc...
nlb.

I think it's the way the titles are organized. When you are in the artist view previously all titles from all albums were ordered alphabetically. Now it's much more logical (like the iPod) with the albums underneath the artist and within the albums the titles in CD order. There's more ordering like that.

Re: Bug in BeoPlayer 5.00.01.0613
After reading the posts above, I took the plunge ( holding my breath ) and downloaded the Beoport and Beoplayer 5.00.01.0613 updates last night. I note that I am using XP, and have M-L linked B&O throughout the house.
No problems ( Whew ) whatsoever: In fact, it loaded quickly and runs better.
I can breathe again.

Not a bug, but a nuisance: The Amazon Link under the album cover in INFO view (N.MUSIC). Does B&O need money that bad?

Actually found a use for that last week. I was given one track off an album, but could not find it to download. Decided I wanted the whole CD, and with one click off INFO, I found it, and Royal Posted it, arriving today.
Anyone found a use for the coloured playlists other than favourites ?

Re: Bug in BeoPlayer 5.00.01.0613
In the mean time I've noticed that if I browse the network drive BEFORE I use BeoPlayer then it automatily scans the networkdrive. Afterwards everything is ok..

I have also found A AUX is only visible when you move mouse over it. This is occurring on both of my BeoPorts after upgrading to the latest version 5.00.01.613
