    Bargain Beogram 2000???

    Local charity shop has a Beogram 2000 with an MMC4 for £75. Top of Beogram has a few surface marks. I need another MMC4 anyway - is this worth a punt if the cartridge is good? Shop has no means of testing the deck, but I could take a Beolit 600 down as the DIN plug only has five pins. I'd keep the MMC4 and flog the deck on eBay if I bought it.

    What does everyone think??

    You need to make sure that the mmc4 works on both channels - not sure that a beolit would accept the input from a beogram as it would need a pre-amp.

    Sounds like a bargain though if it all works fine and the cartridge is good
