I am seeing an old pal of mine this weekend, and he has a pair of CVA-28's

His BeoSystem 7000 did have Penta 3 speakers connected to them, but he now has those connected up to his Ouverture in the bedroom, so does anyone have any advice to give me before I go round there and connect his CVA-28's to his BS 7000

I am presuming the pair of 5 metre Powerlink cables that I have need to be cut off at the CVA-28 end and be terminated as XLR connectors, but other than that, could there be any other issues I may come across.

I don't see many posts on the forums about connecting up other Active Speakers from other manufacturers on Beoworld, just curious if anyone has had success in this area, or does everyone just stick with B&O
