    Beogram 1200 Question

I have been playing around with a Beomaster 3000 and a Beogram 1200 that I recently rescued from many years in a shed and have got them looking nice an working well. What I want to know is if the BG1200 arm is supposed to return when the record ends or you press the black button or is it supposed to just lift up and stop. There is no user manual on site.

I must admit that I was not really bothered about having a turntable, I dont own many records (my sisters Adam and the Ants dont count as mine!) but the sheer beauty of the 1200 deck is making me find a place for it somewhere. If only it could be hung on the wall, it would look amazing.

The Beogram 1200 will only lift and stop. It won't return by itself.

I'm sure that if you play some records you'll like it and become addicted. There's nothing like viewing the media rotating as it is played,  ipods are smart alright but provides no eye-candy.

I agree Martin. I was enjoying playing in my MC120.2 woofers last night with a selection of records on the BG8002. Coloured vinyl looks particularly attractive rotating away on the platter :)

Thats great, that means its fully working. It does indeed look very good with a record on it. The ony problem is my severe lack of records. I have just listened to Regatta de Blanc by the Police as it was the first record I ever bought.

    Re: Beogram 1200 Question

I know the feeling Beaker. I have a distinct shortage of LPs too.
Many of the ones I do have are spoilt by my lack of wisdom in my youth.

    Poor me, never win owt!
